1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to local government; authorizing the city of Sandstone and its economic
1.3development authority to sell a housing development.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. SANDSTONE; SALE OF WILD RIVER APARTMENTS
1.6DEVELOPMENT.
1.7Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 469.034, subdivision 2, paragraph (e),
1.8or any other law to the contrary, the city of Sandstone and the economic development
1.9authority of the city of Sandstone may sell and convey to a nongovernmental party at fair
1.10market value all property described below:
1.11Lots 4 to 8, Block 21 Townsite of Sandstone;
1.12Lots 9 to 16, Block 20 Townsite of Sandstone, together with that part of vacated
1.13Palisade Avenue abutting said lots;
1.14Lots 9 to 22, Dennies Subdivision of Block 11, Sandstone Quarries, together with
1.15the part of an alley accrued thereto by reason of vacation thereof; and
1.16    all buildings constructed thereon and known as the Wild River Apartments
1.17development, located at 300 Commercial Avenue North and 500 Eisenhower Street,
1.18in the city of Sandstone.
1.19EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day after the governing body of
1.20the city of Sandstone and the Sandstone Economic Development Authority and their chief
1.21clerical officer timely comply with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivisions
1.222 and 3.
