1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Christian John Brabender of Montevideo, Minnesota, for
1.3receiving the Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Christian John Brabender is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 259
1.8and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which involved building a two-rail fence around Emmanuel Lutheran
1.11Church's cemetery; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2010, at
1.13Emmanuel Lutheran Church; NOW, THEREFORE,
1.14BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it congratulates Christian
1.15John Brabender of Montevideo, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by his signature and that of the Chair of the Senate
1.18Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Christian John Brabender.
