AN ACT

To amend chapter 67, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to false alarm fees in certain cities.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 67, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 67.2100, to read as follows:

            67.2100. No city of the third classification or city of the fourth classification located in any county with a charter form of government and with more than nine hundred fifty thousand inhabitants shall impose a false alarm fee for service upon an alarm user for a false alarm to which the city police department responds if the false alarm is the alarm user's first false alarm occurring within a twelve-month period.
