Summary

An Act To Amend Chapter 955, Local And Private Laws Of 2011, To Extend The Date Of Repeal On The Law That Authorizes The City Of Southaven, Mississippi, To Impose A Tax Upon The Gross Proceeds Of The Sales Of Beverages And Prepared Food At Restaurants Within The City; To Revise The Purposes For Which Revenue From The Tax May Be Expended; To Authorize The City Of Southaven To Issue General Obligation Bonds For The Purpose Of Providing Funds To Pay Costs Associated With Construction, Acquisition, Development, Additions To And Expansion Of Buildings, Facilities And Property For Tourism And Parks And Recreation Related Purposes; And For Related Purposes.
