Summary

An Act To Create The Mississippi Industry Incentive Financing Fund To Provide Loans Or Grants To Local Governments And Certain Business Enterprises To Construct Or Otherwise Provide Certain Facilities; To Provide That The Fund Shall Be Administered By The Mississippi Development Authority; To Provide That Local Governments And Business Enterprises Desiring A Loan Or A Grant Must Submit An Application To The Mississippi Development Authority; To Provide For The Minimum Content Of Such Applications; To Provide That Contracts By Local Governments For The Acquisition, Purchase, Construction Or Installation Of A Project Shall Be Exempt From The Provisions Of Section 31-7-13, Mississippi Code Of 1972, If Certain Conditions Are Met; To Authorize The Issuance Of General Obligation Bonds In The Amount Of $50,000,000.00 To Provide Funds For The Mississippi Industry Incentive Financing Revolving Fund; To Amend Section 31-7-13, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity Thereto; And For Related Purposes.
