An Act To Criminalize Sexual Activity With A Person 16 Or 17 Years Of Age Where The Offender Is 24 Years Of Age Or Older; To Provide That The Crime Shall Be A Felony; To Define Terms; To Provide Criminal Penalties; To Authorize The Court To Issue A Criminal Sexual Assault Protection Order Prohibiting An Offender From Any Contact With A Victim, Without Regard To The Relationship Between The Victim And The Offender; To Amend Section 45-33-23, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Include The Offense As A Registrable Sex Offense; To Bring Forward Section 97-3-65, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Is The Provision That Provides For The Crime Of Statutory Rape, For The Purpose Of Possible Amendment; To Bring Forward Section 97-3-95, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Is The Provision That Provides For The Crime Of Sexual Battery, For The Purpose Of Possible Amendment; To Bring Forward Section 97-3-101, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Is The Provision That Provides For The Penalties For The Crime Of Sexual Battery, For The Purpose Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.
