Summary

An Act To Amend Section 57-80-9, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Specify That If The Annualized Unemployment Rate In A Growth And Prosperity County Falls Below 150% Of The State's Annualized Unemployment Rate For Three Consecutive Calendar Years And Less Than 30% Of The Population Of The County Is At Or Below The Federal Poverty Level For Three Consecutive Years According To The Most Recent Official Data Compiled By The United States Census Bureau, The Tax Exemptions Authorized Under The Growth And Prosperity Act May Not Be Granted To Additional Business Enterprises; And For Related Purposes.
