Summary

An Act To Amend Section 27-65-75, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Increase The Amount Of The Proceeds Of The Gasoline, Diesel Fuel Or Kerosene Taxes That Is Allocated To The State Aid Road Fund; To Provide That State Aid Road Funds Shall Be Allocated To Each County Based On The Proportion That The Total Number Of Rural And Urban Road Miles In A County Bears To The Total Number Of Rural And Urban Road Miles In All Counties Of The State; To Amend Section 65-9-17, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That State Aid Funds Shall Be Allocated By Boards Of Supervisors To Projects In Municipalities Within The County Based On The Proportion That The Total Number Of Road Miles In The Municipalities In The County Bears To The Total Number Of Road Miles In The County; To Amend Sections 65-9-3 And 65-9-9, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity Thereto; And For Related Purposes.
