House Bill 1645
AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDS FOR THE MUNICIPAL WATER, SEWER AND WASTEWATER SYSTEMS REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT GRANT PROGRAM FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2016.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much of it as may be necessary, is appropriated out of any money in the State Treasury to the credit of the Capital Expense Fund, to the State Department of Health for the purpose of providing funds for the Municipal Water, Sewer and Wastewater Systems Repair and Replacement Grant Program established by House Bill No. 905, 2015 Regular Session, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015, and ending June 30, 2016............................................. $ 10,000,000.00.
SECTION 2. The money appropriated by this act shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of any money to the credit of the Capital Expense Fund, upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or officers in the manner provided by law.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2015.
