AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF BENTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRACT AND/OR CONTRIBUTE TO UNITED COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Supervisors of Benton County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contract with and/or contribute an amount of not more than Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) annually out of any available funds of the county to United Community Action Agency, Inc., in connection with United Community Action Agency, operating various programs in and for the county.

     (2)  This section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2020.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
