House Bill 404

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF DESOTO COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE ANNUALLY TO THE DESOTO HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER, INC., THROUGH CALENDAR YEAR 2016; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of DeSoto County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute annually, through calendar year 2016, an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) to the DeSoto Health and Wellness Center, Inc., so long as the donated funds are used to operate, maintain, improve or manage the facilities of the center and provide medical care and assistance to those in need in DeSoto County, Mississippi.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
