Senate Bill 3187

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO UTILIZE FORFEITURE FUNDS TO PAY AN ANNUAL CLOTHING ALLOWANCE TO UNDERCOVER AGENTS ASSIGNED TO THE NARCOTICS TASK FORCE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Jackson County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to utilize forfeiture funds to pay an annual clothing allowance to each undercover agent assigned to the Narcotics Task Force in an amount not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00).

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
