AN ACT relative to the class rate for payments into the renewable energy fund for   biomass/methane.

ANALYSIS

 

This bill requires the public utilities commission to adjust the rates of payment into the renewable energy fund for Class III-biomass/methane according to the Consumer Price Index instead of a fixed rate.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen

 

AN ACT relative to the class rate for payments into the renewable energy fund for   biomass/methane.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Renewable Energy Fund; Class Rates; Class III Biomass/methane.  Amend RSA 362-F:10, III(b) to read as follows:

(b)  In lieu of the adjustments under subparagraph (a) for class III in 2015 and 2016, the class rate in each of those years shall be $45.  [In lieu of the adjustments under subparagraph (a) for class III in 2017, 2018, and 2019, the class rate in each of those years shall be $55.]

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
