Summary
This legislation would ensure uniformity in the publication of legal notices. It would require that the newspaper which is designated to publish calendars and notices of judicial proceedings be the same newspaper designated to publish calendars and notices by law. Members of the public looking for official legal notices can be assured that they can obtain all relevant notices in the same newspaper. This bill would be a clarification of existing law.
