Summary

This bill provides a credit against personal income taxes and corporate franchise taxes for land that is donated to the state for environmental purposes. In order to qualify for the credit, the donation must be approved by the Commissioner of Environmental Conservation or the Commissioner of the Office of Parks and Recreation. The funding for the credit will come from existing funds in the environmental protection fund or from the sale of bonds pursuant to the clean water, clean air act of 1996.
