       AN ACT to amend the mental hygiene law, in relation to certain reporting
         by mental health practitioners
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1. Subdivision (a) of section 9.46 of the mental hygiene law,
    2  as added by chapter 1 of the  laws  of  2013,  is  amended  to  read  as
    3  follows:
    4    (a)  For  purposes  of  this  section, the term "mental health profes-
    5  sional" shall include a physician, psychologist, registered nurse  [or],
    6  licensed  clinical  social  worker  OR  ANY  MENTAL  HEALTH PRACTITIONER
    7  LICENSED UNDER ARTICLE ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-THREE OF THE EDUCATION LAW.
    8    S 2.  This act shall take effect on the same  date  and  in  the  same
    9  manner as chapter 1 of the laws of 2013 takes effect.
