       AN ACT authorizing the Gate of Heaven cemetery to transfer land  to  the
         Cemetery Floral Company
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary,
    2  the board of trustees for Saint Patrick's cathedral, owners of  Gate  of
    3  Heaven  cemetery  in Hawthorne, New York, may by resolution transfer any
    4  portion of the lands of Gate of Heaven cemetery to the  Cemetery  Floral
    5  Company  in  Hawthorne, New York in exchange for any portion of land the
    6  Cemetery Floral Company deems appropriate.
    7    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
        EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                             [ ] is old law to be omitted.
