       AN  ACT to amend the parks, recreation and historic preservation law, in
         relation to fees
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 13.15 of the parks, recreation and historic preser-
    2  vation law is amended by adding a new subdivision 7 to read as follows:
    3    7.  ANY  STUDENT  GRADUATING FROM A HIGH SCHOOL DULY ACCREDITED BY THE
    4  STATE SHALL BE ENTITLED TO RECEIVE A PASS ENTITLING HIM OR HER ACCESS TO
    5  ANY STATE PARK, PARKWAY, RECREATIONAL FACILITY OR HISTORIC SITE  WITHOUT
    6  CHARGE.  SUCH  ACCESS  WITHOUT  CHARGE SHALL BE FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR
    7  COMMENCING WITH THE DATE OF GRADUATION OF SAID  STUDENT.  THE  PASS  FOR
    8  SUCH  ACCESS  SHALL  BE AVAILABLE AT REGIONAL PARK HEADQUARTERS AND SUCH
    9  OTHER PLACES AS THE OFFICE OR OTHER STATE AGENCY SHALL DESIGNATE.
   10    S 2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next  succeed-
   11  ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
