       AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the  city  of  New  York,  in
         relation to prohibiting the use of fuel oil grades no. 4 and 6 for the
         heating of any residential building
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1.  The administrative code of the city of New York is amended
    2  by adding a new section 24-177.1 to read as follows:
    3    S 24-177.1 RESIDENTIAL FUEL RESTRICTIONS.  RESIDENTIAL  BUILDINGS  ARE
    4  PROHIBITED  FROM USING FUEL OIL GRADES NO. 4 AND 6, AS CLASSIFIED BY THE
    5  AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR TESTING AND MATERIALS, FOR THE HEATING OF ANY RESI-
    6  DENTIAL BUILDING.
    7    S 2. This act shall take effect on the three hundred  sixty-fifth  day
    8  after it shall have become a law.
