GUNTHER, JACOBSON, SCHMITT, BRABENEC -- read once and referred to the Committee on Local Governments -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT to amend the general municipal law and the tax law, in relation to the definition of designated community for community preservation funds The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Paragraph (d) of subdivision 1 of section 6-s of the gener- 2 al municipal law, as added by chapter 596 of the laws of 2007, is 3 amended to read as follows: 4 (d) "Designated community" means any town or city within the Hudson 5 Valley counties of Putnam [or], Westchester or Orange. 6 § 2. Subdivision 11 of section 1560 of the tax law, as added by chap- 7 ter 596 of the laws of 2007, is amended to read as follows: 8 11. "Designated community" means any town or city within the Hudson 9 Valley counties of Putnam, Orange or Westchester. 10 § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
