       AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation  to  big
         game hunting in the county of Livingston
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1.   Item (i) of paragraph  a  of  subdivision  2  of  section
    2  11-0907 of the environmental conservation law, as amended by chapter 231
    3  of the laws of 2012, is amended to read as follows:
    4  (i) The counties of       Deer, the first Monday  Pistol, shotgun,
    5    Allegany, Cattaraugus,  after November 15       muzzle loading
    6    Cayuga, Chautauqua      through first Tuesday   firearm, rifle or
    7    except that portion     after December 7        long bow only
    8    of the county north
    9    of route 20, Chemung,
   10    Chenango, Herkimer,
   11    LIVINGSTON, Madison,
   12    Montgomery, Oneida,
   13    Oswego, Otsego,
   14    Schoharie, Schuyler,
   15    Steuben, Tioga,
   16    Wyoming and Yates
   17    and that portion of
   18    the county of
   19    Broome east of the
   20    Susquehanna river
   21    S  2.  Item  (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
   22  the environmental conservation law, as separately amended by chapter 441
        EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets

    1  of the laws of 2009 and chapter 231 of the laws of 2012, is  amended  to
    2  read as follows:
    3  (i) The counties of       Deer, the               Pistol, shotgun,
    4    Allegany, Cattaraugus,  first Monday after      muzzle loading
    5    Cayuga, Chemung,        November 15 through     firearm, rifle or
    6    Chenango, Herkimer,     first Tuesday after     long bow only
    7    LIVINGSTON,             December 7
    8    Madison, Montgomery,
    9    Oneida, Oswego,
   10    Otsego, Schoharie,
   11    Schuyler, Steuben,
   12    Tioga and Yates
   13    and that portion of
   14    the county of
   15    Broome east of the
   16    Susquehanna river
   17    S  3.  Item  (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
   18  the environmental conservation law, as added by section 2 of chapter 600
   19  of the laws of 2005, is amended to read as follows:
   20  (i) The counties of       Deer and bear, the      Pistol, shotgun,
   21    Allegany,               first Monday after      muzzle loading
   22    Cattaraugs,             November 15 through     firearm, rifle or
   23    Chenango,               first Tuesday after     long bow only
   24    Herkimer,               December 7
   25    LIVINGSTON,
   26    Montgomery, Oneida,
   27    Oswego, Otsego,
   28    Schoharie and Tioga
   29    and that portion
   30    of the county
   31    of Broome east of the
   32    Susquehanna river
   33    S 4. This act shall take effect immediately, provided that the  amend-
   34  ments  to item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
   35  the environmental conservation law made by section one of this act shall
   36  be subject to the expiration and reversion  of  such  item  pursuant  to
   37  chapters  321  and  326  of  the  laws  of 2011, when upon such date the
   38  provisions of section two  of  this  act  shall  take  effect;  provided
   39  further, that the amendments to item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2
   40  of section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
   41  two  of  this  act,  shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of
   42  such paragraph pursuant to section 13 of chapter  600  of  the  laws  of
   43  1993, as amended, when upon such date the provisions of section three of
   44  this act shall take effect.
