        AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to foundation aid payable
          in the two thousand twenty--two thousand twenty-one school year

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Subdivision  4  of  section  3602 of the education law is
     2  amended by adding a new paragraph h to read as follows:
     3    h. Foundation aid payable in the  two  thousand  twenty--two  thousand
     4  twenty-one school year. At a minimum every school district shall receive
     5  the  total foundation aid base, plus the positive difference, if any, of
     6  the product of total foundation aid  and  seven-tenths  (0.7)  less  the
     7  total foundation aid base.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2020.
