MARCELLINO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Government Operations AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to the authority of the state liquor authority to promulgate rules and regu- lations; and providing for the repeal of such provisions upon expira- tion thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Section 17 of the alcoholic beverage control law is amended 2 by adding a new subdivision 10 to read as follows: 3 10. TO PROMULGATE ANY RULE OR REGULATION NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT ANY 4 PROVISION OF THIS CHAPTER. 5 S 2. Section 17 of the alcoholic beverage control law is amended by 6 adding a new subdivision 15 to read as follows: 7 15. TO PROMULGATE ANY RULE OR REGULATION NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT ANY 8 PROVISION OF THIS CHAPTER. 9 S 3. This act shall take effect immediately; provided that the amend- 10 ments to section 17 of the alcoholic beverage control law made by 11 section one of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion 12 of such section pursuant to section 4 of chapter 118 of the laws of 13 2012, as amended, when upon such date the provisions of section two of 14 this act shall take effect; and provided further, that nothing contained 15 in this act shall be construed so as to extend the provisions of this 16 act beyond December 31, 2017, when upon such date this act shall expire 17 and the provisions contained in this act shall be deemed repealed.
