SAVINO, MONTGOMERY, PARKER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Children and Families -- committee discharged and said bill committed to the Committee on Finance -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT to amend the social services law, in relation to the treatment of earned income of a child under the age of 18 when determining the eligibility of a household for a child care subsidy THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Subdivisions 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of section 410-w of the 2 social services law, are renumbered subdivisions 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 and a 3 new subdivision 2 is added to read as follows: 4 2. FOR PURPOSES OF DETERMINING FINANCIAL ELIGIBILITY UNDER THIS TITLE, 5 THE EARNED INCOME OF A DEPENDENT CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN, WHO IS 6 NOT LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHILD OR CHILDREN FOR WHICH CHILD CARE 7 ASSISTANCE IS SOUGHT, SHALL BE DISREGARDED WHEN DETERMINING THE ELIGI- 8 BILITY OF A HOUSEHOLD FOR A CHILD CARE SUBSIDY. 9 S 2.
