        Introduced  by  Sen. HELMING -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations,  Authorities
          and Commissions
        AN  ACT  to amend part T of chapter 57 of the laws of 2017, constituting
          the clean water infrastructure act of 2017, in relation to the  effec-
          tiveness thereof
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Section 14 of part T of chapter 57 of  the  laws  of  2017,
     2  constituting  the  clean water infrastructure act of 2017, is amended to
     3  read as follows:
     4    § 14. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however,  that
     5  [emergency  financial  assistance  will  not  be available under section
     6  1285-t of the public authorities law  established  pursuant  to  section
     7  eight  of  this  act  until one hundred twenty days after this act shall
     8  take effect; and provided further that] the provisions of  section  nine
     9  of  this act shall take effect on the one hundred eightieth day after it
    10  shall become a law.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
