The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 160-ii of the executive law is amended by adding a 2 new subdivision 5 to read as follows: 3 5. The fund shall have the authority to provide additional health 4 benefits, consistent with its plan of operation, for all black car oper- 5 ators entitled thereto pursuant to this chapter, provided that the fund 6 shall have complied with all applicable statutory and regulatory 7 requirements. The surcharge amount not related to payments of workers' 8 compensation claims and the administration of those claims shall be 9 one-half of one percent (0.5%). 10 § 2.
