YOUNG -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to the definition of "integrated pest management" THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Section 33-0101 of the environmental conservation law is 2 amended by adding a new subdivision 27-a to read as follows: 3 27-A. "INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT" MEANS A SUSTAINABLE APPROACH TO 4 MANAGING PESTS BY COMBINING BIOLOGICAL, CULTURAL, PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL 5 TOOLS IN A MANNER THAT MINIMIZES ECONOMIC, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL 6 RISKS. 7 S 2.
