        Introduced  by  Sen. SANDERS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Health

        AN ACT permitting any individual to  receive  free  coronavirus  disease
          2019 (COVID-19) testing

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, any individ-
     2  ual, regardless of insurance  status  or  immigration  status  shall  be
     3  eligible for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) testing at no cost. Any
     4  individual  may  request  to  be  tested  anonymously and no identifying
     5  information shall be provided to any non-medical state or federal  agen-
     6  cy.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
