AN ACT
Amending the act of July 6, 1984 (P.L.614, No.127), entitled "An
act establishing the fees to be charged and received by
sheriffs," further providing for counties included within
act.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 2 of the act of July 6, 1984 (P.L.614,
No.127), known as the Sheriff Fee Act, is amended to read:
Section 2. Counties included.
In counties of the second class, second class A and third
through eighth class [and], except home rule counties [except]
and the County of Philadelphia, the fees, including commissions
and mileage, to be received by the sheriff from persons or
counties requiring services of the sheriff shall be as set forth
in this act.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
