AN ACT

Amending the act of April 6, 1951 (P.L.69, No.20), entitled "An

2

act relating to the rights, obligations and liabilities of

3

landlord and tenant and of parties dealing with them and

4

amending, revising, changing and consolidating the law

5

relating thereto," providing for notice of foreclosure.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

7

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  The act of April 6, 1951 (P.L.69, No.20), known

9

as The Landlord and Tenant Act of 1951, is amended by adding a

10

section to read:

Section 302.1.  Notice of Foreclosure.--If a judgment of

12

foreclosure or pursuant to a tax sale is entered against a

13

landlord, the landlord shall immediately notify all tenants in

14

writing. In no event shall the property be sold less than 90

15

days after notice to the tenants.

16

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
