AN ACT

Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania

2

Consolidated Statutes, providing for meetings involving

3

caucus leaders.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

5

hereby enacts as follows:

6

Section 1.  Title 65 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

7

Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:

8

§ 712.1.  Meetings involving caucus leaders.

9

In any year in which a General Appropriations Act has not

10

been enacted by June 30, the following shall apply to any

11

meeting at which elected caucus leaders from two or more

12

legislative caucuses are present:

13

(1)  The meeting shall be considered a legislative

14

committee meeting within the Capitol Complex, where bills are

15

being considered for the purpose of section 709(d) (relating

16

to public notice).

17

(2)  The provisions of section 708 (relating to executive

sessions) shall not apply to the meeting.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
