A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 57-3-612 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A HIGHWAY FACILITY DEDICATED AND NAMED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SHALL CARRY THIS DESIGNATION FOR FIVE YEARS; AND BY ADDING SECTION 57-3-613 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION MUST OBTAIN APPROVAL FROM THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY BEFORE IT NAMES A HIGHWAY FACILITY IN HONOR OF AN INDIVIDUAL.
