AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 387 OF 1963, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE IRMO FIRE DISTRICT, SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF FIRE CONTROL TO ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS TO ENSURE THAT A BUILDING WITHIN THE DISTRICT IS MAINTAINED PROPERLY AND DOES NOT PRESENT A FIRE OR SAFETY HAZARD; AND TO CONVEY TO A FIRE CHIEF OR HIS DESIGNEE THE SAME AUTHORITY THAT A PEACE OFFICER HAS TO ENFORCE REGULATIONS AND OTHER LAWS PROMULGATED OR ADOPTED BY THE DISTRICT. - ratified title
