Summary
As enacted, creates a Class A misdemeanor offense for any person who leases a motor vehicle on or after July 1, 2016, to knowingly install, conceal, or otherwise place an electronic tracking device in or on the motor vehicle without the consent of the purchaser of the vehicle. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 13, Part 6 and Title 55.
