Summary

As introduced, makes various changes to the Tennessee Learning Loss Remediation and Student Acceleration Act, including changes to require LEAs and participating public charter schools to conduct summer learning camps and after-school learning mini-camps annually beginning in the summer of 2021, instead of only in the summers immediately following the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years; requires the department of education to issue guidance to assist LEAs and public charter schools in making retention decisions for students with a disability or suspected disability. - Amends TCA Title 49.
