Summary

Subject to local approval, repeals the private purchasing act for Van Buren County that requires the County to solicit sealed bids for purchases and contracts in excess of $2,500, thereby bringing the County under the general law purchasing authority for counties (The County Purchasing Law of 1957), which authorizes a county to approve purchases and contracts of up to $10,000 without bid solicitation.
