Bill Title: As enacted, increases penalty for violation of the Financial Responsibility law from a Class C misdemeanor punishable only by a fine of up to $100 to a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to 11 months and 29 days in jail and a fine of up to $2,500 when the offender was at fault for the accident resulting in bodily injury or death. - Amends TCA Title 40; Title 55, Chapter 10 and Title 55, Chapter 12.
