HB3045 by Bonnen (Relating to the designation of a bridge in Galveston County as the Ken Clark Memorial Bridge.), As Introduced |
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, to require the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to design, construct, and erect highway markers naming a bridge in Galveston County, subject to Transportation Code, Section 225.021(c).
Pursuant to Transportation Code, Section 225.021(c), TxDOT may not design, construct, or erect a marker under Subchapter B, unless a grant or donation of funds is made to the department to cover the costs. Based on the information provided by TxDOT, it is assumed implementation of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal or operational impact on the department.
