According to the Department of State Health Services and the Health and Human Services Commission, it is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

According to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, the number of violations that would result in administrative and civil penalty revenues is unknown; therefore, the fiscal impact on the state cannot be estimated.

Local Government Impact
