No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would direct the Texas Coordinating Council for Veterans Services to establish and oversee a workgroup to assess the feasibility of using surplus government property to provide housing to homeless veterans. The report on the results shall be submitted no later than November 1, 2024.
