A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
  relating to increasing the expenditure requirement for the career
  and technology education allotment under the Foundation School
  Program.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 48.106(c), Education Code, is amended to
  read as follows:
         (c)  At least 65 [55] percent of the funds allocated under
  this section must be used in providing career and technology
  education programs in grades 7 through 12.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect on the 91st day after the
  last day of the legislative session.
