BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 1101.651, Occupations Code, is amended | ||
by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: | ||
(e) A license holder representing a seller in a real estate | ||
transaction may not use or obtain an audio recording or video | ||
footage from surveillance equipment installed or operated inside | ||
the seller's property to influence negotiations with a prospective | ||
buyer of that property. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
