| in Liberty County. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION TO TRUSTEED PROGRAMS WITHIN THE | ||
| OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR. The amount of $19,539,814 is appropriated | ||
| from the general revenue fund to the Trusteed Programs within the | ||
| Office of the Governor for use during the two-year period beginning | ||
| on the effective date of this Act for the construction, operation, | ||
| and maintenance of a Department of Public Safety office in Liberty | ||
| County. | ||
| SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act takes effect | ||
| immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members | ||
| elected to each house, as provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas | ||
| Constitution. If this Act does not receive the vote necessary for | ||
| immediate effect, this Act takes effect on the 91st day after the | ||
| last day of the legislative session. | ||
