WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Gordon Keith | ||
Rohrbacker Jr. of Eustace were deeply saddened by his death on April | ||
21, 2023, at the age of 62; and | ||
WHEREAS, The son of the former Shelby Barnett and Gordon | ||
Rohrbacker Sr., Gordy Rohrbacker was born on April 15, 1961, and he | ||
grew up with a brother and four sisters; and | ||
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Rohrbacker benefited from | ||
the love and support of his wife, Lisa; he took great pride in his | ||
three children, Gordon, Katrina, and Candice, and his two | ||
stepchildren, Desiree and J. R., and with the passing years, his | ||
family grew to include several grandchildren and a great-grandson; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, A longtime resident of Eustace, Mr. Rohrbacker was | ||
an avid outdoorsman, and he enjoyed teaching his children and | ||
grandchildren how to hunt and fish; and | ||
WHEREAS, Amiable and good-humored, Gordy Rohrbacker has left | ||
his loved ones with many cherished memories, and they will forever | ||
hold him close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Gordon Keith | ||
Rohrbacker Jr. and extend heartfelt condolences to the members of | ||
his family: to his wife, Lisa Rohrbacker; to his father, Gordon | ||
Rohrbacker Sr.; to his children, Gordon Rohrbacker III and his | ||
wife, Brook, Katrina Rohrbacker Horner and her husband, Michael, | ||
and Candice Rohrbacker and her husband, Tony; to his stepchildren, | ||
Desiree Castillo and her husband, Joe, and J. R. Whitt; to his | ||
grandchildren and great-grandson; and to his other relatives and | ||
friends; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Gordy | ||
Rohrbacker. |
