| WHEREAS, Dylan Shannon, a student at Livingston Intermediate | ||
| School, excelled at the University Interscholastic League academic | ||
| meet during the 2014-2015 school year; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Participating in the listening skills competition, | ||
| Dylan earned third place honors, and his accomplishment is a source | ||
| of great pride to his family and to his fellow students at his | ||
| school; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has pursued his goals with | ||
| skill and dedication, and he may indeed look forward to a future | ||
| bright with promise; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Dylan Shannon on his success in UIL | ||
| academic competition and extend to him sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued achievement; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Dylan Shannon as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
