R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The successful operation of the Texas House of
  Representatives during the 83rd legislative session has been
  greatly enhanced by the dedicated efforts of House Journal Clerk
  Julia Bass and her staff; and
         WHEREAS, The journal clerk's office prepares, publishes, and
  maintains the official journals of house proceedings and makes this
  record of legislative history available on a daily basis; the
  office is also responsible for running the voting system and
  putting record vote information online; and
         WHEREAS, In addition to Ms. Bass, the office staff includes
  Jennifer Teigen Doran, assistant journal clerk and voting clerk,
  and Susan Bradley, Ansley Brown, Katie Gentempo, Scottie Hagen,
  Benjamin Levy, Jennifer Morris, Misty Shaw, Keri Shell, Hannah
  Simmons, and Rebekah Skelton; and
         WHEREAS, With skill and precision, Ms. Bass and each member
  of her fine staff have ably supported the members of this chamber
  throughout this regular session, and their service is greatly
  appreciated; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Julia Bass and the staff of the House
  Journal Clerk's office and extend to them sincere best wishes for
  the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the office as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
