R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A life lived with joy and purpose drew to a close
  with the passing of Nick Bradshaw of Wimberley on February 4, 2023;
  and
         WHEREAS, Born in McAllen in 1948, Mr. Bradshaw attended Texas
  A&M University before transferring to The University of Texas at
  Austin, where he graduated with a degree in aerospace engineering
  in 1971; after a brief time operating a house-painting business
  with friends, he began his engineering career with the Lockheed
  Missiles and Space Company in Sunnyvale, California; less than a
  year later, he started working for a small marine engineering
  consulting company in San Francisco that quickly became the premier
  designer of offshore structures for oil production, and he went on
  to enjoy a long and rewarding tenure with the company that took him
  throughout the United States and the world, including London, where
  he lived for 11 years; and
         WHEREAS, In 2006, Mr. Bradshaw semi-retired and returned to
  Texas; making his home in Wimberley, he became involved with a
  number of organizations, such as the Wimberley Democrats and the
  Hays County Master Gardeners, and he was also a board member and
  past president of the Wimberley Players; in his leisure time, he
  enjoyed traveling, gardening, and watching Texas Longhorn football
  games; and
         WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Bradshaw benefited from
  the love and support of his wife, Debbie, with whom he shared 50
  years, and he was the proud father of three children, Ben, Nate, and
  Lauren; and
         WHEREAS, Although Nick Bradshaw is deeply missed, memories of
  his passion for life, his wonderful sense of humor, and his devotion
  to his family remain to comfort and inspire those he leaves behind;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Nick Bradshaw and
  extend sincere condolences to all who mourn his passing; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Nick
  Bradshaw.
