Summary

Requires (1) the STEM Education Advisory Panel to consider ways of integrating art and design into STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education programs to promote innovation; (2) the National Science Foundation's Math and Science Partnership program to develop a STEM educational curriculum that incorporates art and design to promote creativity and innovation; and (3) teacher institutes for the 21st century, which provide professional development to teachers, to have a component that includes the integration of art and design principles and processes.
