Summary

Affirms the commitment of the House of Representatives to child survival and development programs that focus on protection, prevention, and treatment of pneumonia. Salutes the health professionals and community health workers in the world's poorest countries who are extending preventative care and treatment to children most at-risk of contracting pneumonia. Reaffirms the U.S. commitment to reducing child mortality. Recognizes World Pneumonia Day.
