Summary

Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity; establishment of minority-owned and women-owned state purchasing program. Provides for the Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity, in conjunction with the Department of General Services, the Virginia Information Technologies Agency, and the Department of Transportation, to develop a program establishing a requirement that at least 15 percent of all state purchases be made from minority-owned or women-owned businesses that are also certified as small businesses.
